Claudius is a Managing Director in Ardian’s Infrastructure team, based in Frankfurt. Prior to joining Ardian in 2024, Claudius served as Executive Director in UBS Investment Bank. At UBS, Claudius was involved in the origination and execution of strategic M&A transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors for clients and targets in Germany and Austria. Prior to UBS, Claudius served in group corporate finance and new business development at Wintershall Holding, then a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF. At Wintershall, he advised executive management on cross-border M&A transactions, organic investments and the group’s capital allocation strategy. He started his career as Analyst in the Investment Banking department of Credit Suisse in 2009.
